Libra Shiryu is a well-known figure in the world of Saint Seiya, holding the title of Legendary Libra Gold Saint. He was also previously known as the Dragon Bronze Saint, and fought alongside others such as Athena, Seiya, Shun, Hyoga, and Ikki 25 years ago. Even after the conclusion of the Holy War against Hades, Shiryu continued his journey by marrying Shunrei and starting a family. As he lost his senses during a battle with Mars, he ultimately retired as a Saint and entrusted the Libra Cloth to Genbu.
